Doune
Castle
A
magnificent late 14th century courtyard castle with high walls
and dramatic look. The castle was most famously used as the
setting for Monty Python's Holy Grail.
Rooms
GREAT HALL. An impressive large room with traditional stone
walls and restored wooden roof featuring a replica open firebasket
in the centre of the hall.
LORD'S HALL. This barrel-vaulted
hall features 19th century panelling, period furniture and
minstrels' gallery.
