About Us
We are a division of Saltire Hospitality (est. 2000) a leading Scottish catering and hospitality company, who provide leading corporate events, weddings, boardroom lunches and public events.
Located in Perthshire, The Creative Caterers specialise in organising high quality private, public and corporate events throughout Scotland, offering friendly, efficient and personalised service.
Our Perthshire team is headed up by Glenn and Angela Richards. Glenn began his career in Edinburgh in 1986 and has worked at some of the capitals finest hotel and restaurants, including L’Auberge, Prestonfield House Hotel and The Carlton Highland Hotel. He was also Sous Chef in the Caledonian Hotel where he was in charge of a huge banqueting operation. Glenn’s most recent position was at Murrayfield Stadium managing a multi-million pound food operation with responsibility for all food purchasing and delivery of up to 2500 high specification corporate meals on a busy match day. During his career Glenn has attended to the food needs for several royal families and heads of state, he was also short listed for Restaurant Chef of the Year in 2003 by the Scottish chef’s society.
Angela’s hospitality career began in the 4* Marriott Hotel in Glasgow where she developed most of her skills for the following 4 ½ years, she then grasped the opportunity to work at Flodigarry Country House Hotel on the beautiful Isle of Skye where she worked for several years, and eventually attaining the post of Sous Chef. During her time there the hotel attained several awards ranging from Talisker to Macallan taste of Scotland. Angela also spent a season on board one of the largest 5* luxury cruise liners of the time, travelling around the Mediterranean & Caribbean. Angela’s most recent position was Jnr Sous Chef at Murrayfield Stadium. She has now progressed up the ladder and out of the kitchen to become part of the management team at the creative caterers.
The menus shown over the following pages offer just a glimpse of the menus we can provide. Each event is unique and for that reason, we work closely with you, to tailor a package to suit your event and desires. When it comes to our menus, all of our food is carefully selected and freshly cooked, using the best of local produce.
We can provide a service in the venue of your choice, whether it be a boardroom in your offices, or a marquee in the country. We can suggest venues suitable for your event to be held, theme the events and your menus to suit your requirements, and deliver a professional and unrivalled service on the day, served by our dedicated banqueting team.
